Located in Englad, Sherwood is a royal forest in Nottinghamshire, famous through its historic story of Robin Hood.

Annually, this forest attracts anywhere between 400,000 and 1 million tourists, following after the release of BBC's Robin Hood, the number of visitors significantly increased.

The famous Major Oak still grows in the Sherwood Forest after 800-1000 years. Steps toward preservation have been taken to keep it there as long as possible.
